Chef Mitch Mayers has built his Ballard restaurant around a playful sensibility, and that carries over into the dessert menu. Hard to go wrong with this Pike Place classic, known as the primary Seattle cheesemonger by which all others are judged. The flagship shop — serving up gooey melted goodness in a cup — had been shut down for a few weeks, but is ramping back up again for takeout with curbside pickup for those who order through the Beecher’s app.
