Throughout the pandemic, many Seattle restaurants necessarily made some drastic shifts, including in the retail arena. With home cooking on the rise, a few notable places introduced their own mini markets, or enhanced existing larder sections. In addition to made-to-order takeout and delivery items, these restaurants highlighted kitchen pantry staples, cuts of meat, and vegetables straight from local farms. The restaurant has an excellent selection of items ideal for baking, including ancient grain pancake mix, ingredients for Red Flint cornbread, and sorghum syrup.

Chef Eric Rivera is no stranger to trying new things, and his Ballard restaurant has adjusted to current conditions by experimenting with a variety of options, including now a full-fledged retail section.
