From Lynnwood to Issaquah
Talay Thai Restaurant
This Lynnwood mainstay has fantastic goong pad sataw (shrimp with cluster beans), as well as a selection of comforting noodle dishes and fried rice, which holds up for leftovers. Reduced hours for takeout are 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.
Noodle Hut
The “house noodle soup” at this tiny Edmonds spot is actually boat noodles, rich from blood in the broth. Among the other dishes available for takeout are hits like old-fashioned tom yum, pink-colored yen ta fo, and delicious pad kee mao.
Pop Pop Thai Street Food
Those on the north side of Seattle know that this not-visible-from-the-street restaurant serves excellent yen ta fo (here called Red Sea Noodle Soup) and braised pork leg with mustard greens. Available for pickup, withonline predordering.
Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen (Kirkland)
Right off of Kirkland’s main drag, this restaurant (with a sibling in Lynnwood) is the brainchild of a Thai couple who partnered with friends at venerableBai Tongto bring inventive Southern Thai cuisine to the area. Dishes like mushroom fritters and the excellent curry with crab and vermicelli are available fortakeout with curbside pickup and delivery.
Wann Yen / Mark Thai Food Box
With items ranging from the mellow khao mun gai (poached chicken over ginger rice) to the fiery pad krapow gai kai dao (minced chicken, Thai basil, and chiles), this U District gem shines. The restaurant — open for both takeout and delivery — has also beensupporting local health workers with free meals.
Kin Len Thai Night Bites
Fremont’s relatively new Fremont spot specializes in snacks like crispy pork wontons, banana blossom fries, and pork rice dumplings, as well as a few dedicated vegan dishes, including a baked mushroom medley with rice noodles. Available for takeout.

Bai Tong Restaurant
This longtime local chain has undergone many changes over the years, but quality remains high for dishes like gai hor bai toey (pandan-wrapped chicken) and hor mok (salmon and red curry steamed in a banana leaf). Available for takeout and delivery.
Bangrak Market
Bearing the same name of a popular market in the Thai capital, this is Belltown’s destination for Thai street food, including fried crab wontons, chicken satay, and an extensive selection of noodles and curries. Available for takeout and delivery.
Soi
Capitol Hill’s industrial-chic spot specializes in Northern Thai food with Laotian influences. The currenttakeout menuincludes highlights such as fermented pork ribs, sausage, and kor moo yahng (grilled pork collar), as well as beer, wine, and a selection of cocktails to-go.

Araya's Place Bellevue
With two locations in Seattle and one in Bellevue, this Thai restaurant serves up satisfying vegan dishes such as “Drunken Mushroom” — wide rice noodles with portobello, shiitake, and white mushrooms — and avocado curry. Curbside pickup is now available withonline preorders.
Buddha Ruksa
At this West Seattle favorite, chef Anucha “Nui” Onongard borrows his mother’s home-cooked flair from Lopburi, north of Bangkok, to showcase specialties such as spicy garlic prawns infused with chile pepper and three-flavored fish. Open for takeout with reduced hours.
Vientiane Grocery
As the recently-relocated restaurant is based in a Hillman City grocery store, the cooks in Vientiane’s kitchen come out to grab ingredients to fulfill orders like Lao sausage and a selection of khao poun noodle soups in beef, chicken, and fish varieties. Available for takeout only (plus, of course, some pantry items).
Noodle Boat Thai Restaurant
This Thai destination in Issaquah offers takeout and delivery, and has not altered its hours. Playfully-named dishes Queen of Banana, King of Garlic, Hot Meat, and “Whatever You Called?” can bring on serious heat by request.
May Kitchen and Bar
Virtually everyone on Vashon island raves about this Thai restaurant, which has been a mainstay for years. It’s hard to go wrong with the terrific pad thai and yum pla (whole) trout with mango salad, available for takeout and local delivery.
