Seattle’s poutine game may not be able to match Canada’s just yet, but the dish — fries topped with gravy and cheese curds— is still a welcome sight on menus around the city for those craving a comforting side dish. Though the plates may not hold up for long, it’s also still a decent grab and go option, if one is looking for a quick snack. Fortunately, plenty of local restaurants have clued into this and are repping our northern neighbors on their menus lately, and there are some fun twists out there on the classic Québécois snack, listed from north to south.

Though all the restaurants on the list offer takeout, a handful have resumed limited dine-in service as well. The level of service offered is indicated on each map point. However, this should not be taken as endorsement for dining in, as there are still safety concerns: for updated information on coronavirus cases in your area, please visit theKing County’s COVID update page. Studies indicate that there is a lower exposure risk when outdoors, but the level of risk involved with patio dining is contingent on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines.
