Family Donut Shop
Northgate’s strip mall shop (with a Lynnwood sibling) has an impressive selection, and those in the know go for the bacon maple bars, although the crullers also get high marks from regulars for their crunchy texture. Open for takeout daily from 6 a.m. to noon.
Mighty-O Donuts
This vegan-friendly doughnut shop bakes organic, environmentally friendly goodies like lemon poppyseed and French toast (ingredients are certified organic). Four of its five cafes are open for takeout and delivery viaDoorDash,Caviar, andUber Eats(the 2nd Ave and Madison Street location is temporarily closed).
Donut Factory
Known for its over-the-top cookie doughnut sandwiches that have graced plenty of Instagram accounts, this U District bakery (with a Lynnwood offshoot) also serves up ice cream treats. It’s open daily for takeout until 9 p.m.

Top Pot Doughnuts
What started as a coffee shop became a powerhouse pastry chain always more on the way, plus more than 40 varieties of tasty treats — and it’s hard to beat the old fashioned. Top Pot cofounder Michael Klebeck’s new Capitol Hill shop bakes its doughnuts on site, using organic Pacific Northwest ingredients. Among the delightful options in the filled variety are nocciolata (chocolate hazelnut), peanut butter cup, and bananas foster bombs bursting with sweetness.Online preorderingnow available for pickup.

General Porpoise Doughnuts
Renowned restaurateur Renee Erickson has wowed dessert fiends with these British inspired doughnuts: fresh custards, sweet creams, and homemade jams made from locally sourced ingredients. The Laurelhurst and Capitol Hill locations are still open for takeout, withonline preordering available.
Raised Doughnuts
Fans of the former popular pop-up can now find creations such as ube mochi, earl grey and coffee crullers at this Central District outpost. It’s open for takeout with the regular hours, and diners can put inpreorders online(although walk-ups are welcome as well).
Daily Dozen Doughnut Company
When one just won’t do, it’s easy enough to nab a whole sack of hot mini doughnuts pulled from bubbling oil by a vintage Doughnut Robot at this famous Pike Place Market stall.
Despi Delite Bakery
Serving Beacon Hill for more than two decades, this shop’s glass case brims with Filipino pastries, and the doughnuts reflect that heritage, too, such as the purple ube flavor. It’s open for takeout Monday through Saturday until 6:30 p.m.

This farmers market operation serves a rotating selection of flavors, including cardamom cake doughnuts, chocolate pudding-filled brioche, and fennel apple fritters. There’s a takeout window at 5604 Delridge Way SW open Friday through Sunday mornings, with boxes available foronline preorders.

This bizarre and iconic Rainier Beach restaurant/laundromathas dealt with ownership changes over the years, but it’s still going strong, even during the pandemic. Beyond the wash cycle, the sweet treats shine, from chocolate- and sprinkle-coated cake doughnuts to glazed or cinnamon sugar-coated rounds.
Good Day Donuts
This cozy White Center shop is versatile. In addition to a selection of sweet classics, such as cinnamon twists, glazed cake doughnuts, and apple fritters, it also hosts pop-ups and features savory dishes — with some experiments. For a limited time, the small cafe is featuring asmash burger on a glazed raised hole-less doughnut, courtesy ofRough Draft Burger Shop.
Dochi
While the International District outpost of this popular mochi-doughnut hybrid purveyor is closed temporarily, the shop recently opened an outpost inTukwila’s new Lam’s Seafood Market. The delicate, chewy mochi-doughnut hybrids come in seasonal flavors, ube glaze, matcha Oreo, taro with Fruity Pebbles, and Viet coffee red velvet, and the Tiffany’s-like blue boxes add to the flair.
