But 25 are still standing, with many finding creative ways to offer takeout and delivery despite having limited staff and resources.

From old-school pastrami sandwiches from a longstanding Bronx icon and homey Indian fare in Long Island City to Peruvian-Japanese fare from a Greenwich Village hotspot and pizza from a Lower East Side cult favorite, these are the Eater 38 restaurants that remain open.
