Last week,Eater asked readers to name the most underrated restaurants in New York, and both the comments section and the tipline were flooded with nominations. Some of these restaurants are small neighborhood places that have been quietly serving great food for years, while others are newer establishments that haven't exploded yet. We sifted through the pile and chose our 15 favorites. Obvious shills were ignored.
