Taking over a swanky rooftop of the Hoxton hotel, Chicago chef Stephanie Izard brings her restaurant Cabra to Downtown LA, serving ceviches, cocktails, and Peruvian-inspired dishes in a heated patio. The wraparound views are just the icing on the cake.

Montebello’s sleek indoor-outdoor food hall uses containers and lush greenery to make it fit into the downtown area, with the likes of Pez Cantina, Nola Cajun and Creole, Vchos, and Cafe Santo serving delicious, affordable fare to the neighborhood. There’s plenty of picnic-style seating in the middle for groups to enjoy, too.
