Professional baseball returns to D.C. for the 2016 season. Washington may still be a relatively young baseball town, but there's lots of enthusiasm for the Nationals out there. That means there will be plenty of opportunities to kick back and root for the hometown team over the next six months.
Many bars and restaurants are ready to show the games for anyone not at the stadium. There's just one small problem— most clock in at more than three hours. Sustaining a bar tab can get expensive over that period of time. Most weekday happy hours are wrapping up around first pitch, and weekend drink specials are few and far between.
