Coronavirus-related social distancing protocols mean beer fans can’t visit taprooms and brewhouses, leaving thirsty Washingtonians far from their favorite craft lagers and ales. Eager to provide relief, many area breweries are continuing to offer cans, bottles, and growlers for carryout or delivery. Some, likeBluejacketandAslin, rotate through a roster of small batch recipes. Others, likeDC BrauandPort City, lean largely on flagship brews. Some sprinkle cider and hard seltzer options across the lineup.

While restaurants and bars are required topair to-go drinks with prepared food, breweries don’t have to mess with the technicality for carryout customers (though some offer bar fare too). Whether it’s through contact-less curbside pickup or same-day delivery, these breweries are ready to release the suds.
