D.C. bartenders have been ringing in spring by concocting a refreshing batch of cocktails intended to signal brighter days ahead. Ingredients like strawberry, mango, edible flowers, and honey are popping up in multiple mixed drinks this season. While to-go cocktails are still an option, many of these pretty presentations are best consumed on a sunny patio.

Beverage director Hakim Hamid infuses the bar’s vermouth with butterfly pea tea to produce a layered lavender look, with touches of grapefruit and lemon for a bit of acidity and sweetness.
