Kitchen LTO at Trinity Groves Has Closed Its Doors

Afterless than three yearsof rotating pop-ups, Trinity Grove’sKitchen LTOclosed its doors on Sunday. Trinity Groves confirmed the shutter in a statement:

"Kitchen LTO was a bold idea that epitomized our goals as an incubator," says Trinity Groves co-founder and mega restaurateur Phil Romano. "Casie has been a fantastic partner. She is smart, creative and a champion of young chefs. We look forward to her next endeavor." He adds: "As an incubator, we continue to ‘launch, listen and learn’ with every new concept. The insight we gain from our customers is invaluable, particularly as Trinity Groves expands to include new retail and restaurant opportunities for promising entrepreneurs."

LTO, which stood for "limited time only," was a concept developed by Casie Caldwell. The permanent pop-up restaurant wasconsideredan incubator within the larger Trinity Groves restaurant incubator, bringing on up-and-coming chefs and artists to create unique, temporary (four to six-month) dining experiences.

During its tenure at Trinity Groves, LTO hosted six chefs includingNorman Grimm,Anastascia Quinones,Blythe Beck, andBrooke Egger. Chef Nick Amoriellohelmedthe final incarnation. Still no word on what will takeover the LTO space. Stay tuned for further updates.

How the Best Queso Got Its Name
