Their selection of East Coast oysters are all $1 during happy hours. Go between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday through Friday, or between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sundays. Or try the late night happy hour, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Go on a Friday for $1 oysters at La Sardine. But take note: oysters are only available at the bar, and only during dinner service.
The Bluebird offers a rotating selection of East and West Coast oysters for $1 during their happy hour, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day.
Here they call it "Buck a Shuck": oysters are $1 every day from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., but only at the bar.
It's not quite dollar oysters, but if you're willing to spend a couple extra quarters, Fish Bar offers oysters for $1.50 on Sundays. Or, for the uninitiated, they'll let you "try one" for $1 any day of the week (otherwise you have to order them by the half dozen for $15 an order).
Though you can't order them by the piece, on Thursdays oysters are less that $1: get a dozen of the Chef's choice for $10. If you're not up for a dozen, go on "$2 Tuesdays", when you can get oysters (as well as tacos, half pints, and whiskey shots) for $2 each.
