Take a breath, Olympics fans —all those tear-jerking features and lessons on sportsmanship are almost here. The 2016 Summer Games kick off on Friday, Aug. 5 with the Opening Ceremonies from Rio de Janerio. But instead of watching the games from your house, why not find the Olympic Spirit and join other fans in rooting on amateur athletes from all across the globe.

Rio is just one hour ahead of Chicago, so there's no need to stay up late to catch some sweet Olympian action. Here's a list of Chicago restaurants and bars to watch the games. Some even offer specials. The Olympics stretch from Aug. 5 through Aug. 21.
