The German cultural center in Lincoln Square will host watch parties for all 2014 World Cup champion Germany matches, complete with beer and pretzels, for a $5 suggested donation. The party will continue after the German matches, as long as Germany wins,says its event page.

Long known as the top international soccer bar in Chicago, The Globe Pub reopened from an extensive renovation just in time for the World Cup. Expect large international crowds at this North Center staple for all games which will be shown on its new TVs, plus a new food menu and large beer list.

This British pub in Lakeview is another of Chicago’s top soccer bars, which will screen every match with sound on its 30 TVs, has 110 beers on tap, a menu of British bar food, and sidewalk patio.

This small beer bar in the shadow of Wrigley Field is hostingBreakfast & Brewsfor 13 matches. The spread includes doughnuts, scones, quiche, and cinnamon rolls and $3 bottomless coffees. Perhaps the taps will feature a special brew or two?

The Radler serves German fare, and ownership haven’t announced an affiliation, but customers can figure it out. The Logan Square restaurant will have $10 liters and $5 half liters of Pilsner Urquell throughout the tourney.

The Moonlighter, the new-ish sports and burger bar with the massive patio from the owners of Scofflaw, will show World Cup action on 10 TVs with sound in Logan Square. Well-made bar food, cocktail pitchers, and a vegan menu for soccer fans who don’t eat meat are also on the docket.

Soccer fans who aren’t fans of typical sports bars have a good option in Black Bull, the Spanish restaurant and bar on Wicker Park’s Division Street. It’ll open early to show all 1 p.m. games in the World Cup — both inside and on its new sidewalk patio — and serve $30 sangria porrons and $15 Estrella Galicia Summer Shandy porrons. Team Spain will obviously be the focus here.

Troquet is a River North neighborhood French spot. It will cheer on France with $10 Troquet burgers and $4 Kronenbourg 1664s. They’ll be open at 4:45 a.m. on June 16 for the France/Australia match with an American breakfast (two eggs any style, choice of bacon, pork sausage or chicken sausage, choice of toast) for $10.

This River North Irish bar also claims to be “the #1 soccer bar in Chicago,” which will show most games, offer food and drink specials, and contests for patrons who predict match winners and scores.

River North Peruvian hotspot Tanta will open early for all Peru and South American matches and screen them live on its rooftop terrace. To eat and drink, expect empanadas, cebiches, sandwiches, pisco sours, sangrias, and more.

From the owners of the Parthenon, this bar will root on Belgium through their run. Of course, there are specials with Belgian beer Karmeliet. The bar is an international hub in Greektown.

This longtime Pilsen bar and dance party spot will show all the World Cup matches, but its particular focus will be team Mexico when it’ll host watch parties with DJs before, during halftime, and after the game. $4 Heinekens and $6 micheladas will be on special.
