You can get $1 tacos every Tuesday night from the beginning of the dinner service until close (10 p.m.) at this Union Square mainstay. And why not wash those tasty tacos down with acocktail made by ex-Café ArtScience barman Todd Maul?

The North End doesn’t scream “Mexican food,” but Vito’s Tavern on Salem Street shrugs convention and pushes half-priced tacos all day on Tuesdays. From noon to midnight, get three tacos for just $6. $2 a taco isn’t half bad.

Loco Taqueria in Southie offers a selection of tacos — some from their menu, some specials — every Tuesday at dinner for $2 to 4. (Tacos at Loco typically cost $9 to 13.)

The Gate in JP is serving up $1 tacos every Tuesday night from 4 to 10 p.m. Diners can choose between ground beef, chicken tinga, or vegetable medley and can wash it all down with a $5 house margarita or a $3 Modelo.
